Subject: The use of naked short selling of pink sheet listed stocks

September 18, 2005

Dear SEC,

Many innovative small companies and their technology are being destroyed by market manipulators through the use of naked short selling. This drives down the stock price and can effectively put the small company out of business. The US may be loosing our technology lead and this can be a major reason.

I believe brokers should be forced to have public records of who is shorting these pink sheet and bulletin board stocks. I would go a step further and make shorting of pink sheet stocks illegal. Why not just let companies develop instead of allowing them to be attacked and destroyed in this manner? Please consider doing something to fix this problem soon.

Sincerely,

Ronald Lashley
