While I am all for corporate freedom as private entities, I am also aware of the immense power that corporate boards hold and the need for government oversight and regulation. Shareholders need to have real and informed access and choice in the election of boards of directors. Many of us, myself included, have our financial futures riding on our investments and therefore have a vital interest in how the companies we have invested in are managed. I am not knowlegable enough in the intricacies of proxies and board elections so I appreciate the SEC reviewing proxy rules to see how shareholders may be better protected. Thank You Robert J.
