As such, I have witnessed numerous individual lose their pensions and 401(k) assets due to mismanaged corporate board leadership. Something must be done in this country to safeguard retirements and hold corporations accountable to their stockholders. The SEC should take the high road by allowing shareholders to nominate directors. It would be a most welcome change! Leslie Schmuhl UFCW Union Steward, Local 911 AFGWU Administrative Assistant
