Subject: CEO's & Boards

I have been involved with Alaska Airlines in making a proposal to seperate 
the CEO from the board.  When the CEO is also head of the board of trusties, 
etc, how is there any oversite.  The CEO even does his/her own evaluation 
and recommendation for salary and such.
