I have wondered how shareholders could have a more effective role. I live on a pension fund and own mutual fund shares so I care about the mangement of US companies. I have been greatly distressed by all the frauds in recent years. I applaud and support the SEC's consideration of proxy rules and I hope the rules will be changed to give shareholders a greater say in the selection of directors and in company oversight.
