From: Bill Murphy [bmurphyi@bellsouth.net] Sent: Tuesday, June 10, 2003 10:53 AM To: rule-comments@sec.gov Subject: S7-10-03: It has become obvious now, even though I have known it for years, that corporate America, as well as the firms on Wall Street, cannot regulate themselves. The system as it was designed is not working. Shareholders of public corporations have no power. Corporate boards and managment have taken away shareholders' rights. From salaries to accounting gimmics, everything is out of whack. I fully support anything the SEC does to level the playing field, ANYTHING. At this point, I would support a salary freeze for corporate executives, as well as a surcharge on my stock trades to build a new court system for securities fraud and special prisons for those convicted of fraud. Thank you, Bill Murphy JD, MBA
