Serving the long term interests of Main Street investors is what drives all of us here. Our shared commitment to a goal that matters and makes a difference in people’s lives makes the SEC one of the best places in government to work.
The SEC was recognized as such by the Partnership for Public Service at its January 26 Awards Ceremony. The Partnership ranked the SEC fifth-highest among mid-sized federal agencies. Not only that, two of the SEC’s individual offices, the Office of Support Operations and the Office of Financial Management, were recognized for having the 3rd and 5th highest scores, respectively, among government work units. Overall, the SEC ranked in the top 10 in each of the Best Places to Work survey’s 14 categories, including matching employee skills to our mission, innovation and empowerment.
