The SEC’s Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation hosted the third annual Capital Call, which is styled after public companies' earnings release calls and included a discussion of the office’s 2021 Annual Report to Congress and the Commission. The event highlighted what has been happening with capital raising across the country, including a spotlight on how and where capital is being raised and the unique challenges faced by underrepresented businesses.
