Registration of Municipal Advisors FAQs Update

The Office of Municipal Securities has updated its Registration of Municipal Advisors Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) webpage to provide additional staff views on common questions related to municipal advisor registration.  This update is intended to offer more clarity to help public finance market participants – including direct bond purchasers, special assessment consultants, lease consultants, former employees of municipal entities, and certain associations organized for the benefit of municipal entities – determine when their activities might require registration.
