Informational Bulletin: How to Register as a Municipal Advisor

The Office of Municipal Securities has posted an Informational Bulletin to help educate those who plan to engage in municipal advisory activities – including sole proprietors – on the steps they must take to apply for registration with the SEC. This Informational Bulletin is intended to serve as a compilation and summary of preexisting resources related to the initial SEC registration process for municipal advisors and it creates no new or additional obligations for any person.
