                        SEC OPEN MEETING 



     Washington, D.C., April 24, 1997 -- Pursuant to provisions of
the Government in the Sunshine Act, the Securities and Exchange
Commission will hear oral argument on an appeal by Suzanne L. Cook
from an administrative law judge's initial decision; and oral
argument on an appeal by Richard H. Morrow from an administrative
law judge's initial decision.  The public hearings will be held on
Friday April 25, starting at 9:30 a.m., in Room 6059, at Commission
Headquarters, 450 Fifth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
