      Media Briefing On Proposed Auditor Independence Rules

What: Securities and Exchange Commission staff will conduct a
media briefing on the auditor independence rule proposals that
the Commission will consider tomorrow at its open meeting.  The
proposed rules will be considered at 10:00 a.m. and the briefing
will take place immediately after the open meeting (approximately
11:00 a.m.).
