Control Share Acquisition Statutes – Rob Pampinella

Sept. 25, 2020

I invest in closed-end funds. I understand that, as a result of pressure from the Investment Company Institute, a trade organization, the SEC has changed its mind and now says a closed-end fund can prevent some shareholders from voting all of their shares. That is crazy! When did the SEC become a wholly owned subsidiary of the ICI?  You should be ashamed of yourselves.
