EDGAR Form X-17A-5 XML Technical Specification (Version 2)

The EDGARLink Online X-17A-5 Technical Specification (Version 2) provides, to those filers that are interested, a basis for creating EDGARLink X-17A-5 submissions without the use of the EDGARLink Online Application. The expectation is that software developers, working on behalf of filers, will be able to construct software that will generate an EDGARLink Online submission that can be successfully processed by the EDGAR system.
EDGAR Release 17.0.2 introduced the following changes to the EDGARLink X-17A-5 XML Technical Specification (Version 2):
- Section 4.6 "SUB_DOCUMENT_TYPE" has been updated to include a new document type of "FULL" that can be used for the element "conformedDocumentType". There are no updates to the schema. The following EDGARLink Online XML Technical Specification documents detail the valid structure and content of the EDGARLink Online submission types.
