DRAFT EDGARLink Online XML Technical Specification (Version 13)

Implementation Date: October 20, 2014

This DRAFT EDGARLink Online XML Technical Specification (Version 13), posted before Commission approval of potential regulatory changes in this release, is provided as a service to our filing community to assist filers, agents, and software developers in their preparation of responses to potential changes the staff anticipates. Since this is a draft specification, the SEC retains the right to change any part of the specification before the new system release is made final. In addition, the final EDGARLink Online XML Technical Specification is subject to Commission approval and may be revised before approval or not approved at all. Similarly, the posting of the DRAFT EDGARLink Online XML Technical Specification (Version 13) does not indicate Commission approval of any pending proposed changes relating to the potential changes reflected in the draft specification. The changes outlined in this draft specification, if approved, are scheduled to take effect on October 20, 2014. The final version of the specification will be made available if approved by the Commission on or about October 20, 2014 on the SEC's Public Website.

On October 20, 2014, EDGAR Release 14.2 will introduce the following changes:

• New submission form types, SF-1, SF-1/A, SF-3, SF-3/A, SF-3MEF, 424H, 424H/A, ABS-EE and ABS-EE/A, were added to EDGARLink Online.
• New Exhibit types EX-102 and EX-103 were added as new exhibit document types to the EDGAR filing common XML Schema (eis_Common.xsd) to support ABS-EE and ABS-EE/A EDGARLink Online Form Submissions.
• Form 8-K Item 6.06 (Static Pool) was added to section 4.10, ITEM_TYPE , and is now available on EDGARLink Online for submission form types 8-K, 8-K/A, 8-K12B, 8-K12B/A, 8-K12G3, 8-K12G3/A, 8-K15D5, and 8-K15D5/A. This is only a documentation change as the item already existed in the CoReg XML Schema (eis_CoReg.xsd).
• Exhibit EX-106 (Static Pool) was added to section 4.3, DOCUMENT_TYPE, as it is now available on EDGARLink Online submission form types 8-K, 8-K/A, 8-K12B, 8-K12B/A, 8-K12G3, 8-K12G3/A, 8-K15D5, 8-K15D5/A, S-1, S-1/A, S-1MEF, S-3, S-3/A, S-3ASR, S-3D, S-3DPOS, S-3MEF, SF-1, SF-1/A, SF-3, SF-3/A, and SF-3MEF. This is only a documentation change as the exhibit already existed in the EDGAR filing common XML Schema (eis_Common.xsd).
