DRAFT EDGAR XFDL Technical Specification (Version 11)

Effective Date: February 8, 2010

This DRAFT EDGAR XFDL Technical Specification (Version 11) provides, to those filers that are interested, a basis for creating XFDL filings without the use of the EDGARLink tool. The expectation is that software developers, working on behalf of filers, will construct software that will generate an XFDL filing that can be successfully parsed by the EDGAR Receipt Server.

In support of EDGAR Release 10.0, effective on February 8, 2010, updates are being made to the EDGAR XFDL Technical specification primarily to address the removal of rescinded EDGAR submission types: 10KSB and 10KSB/A.
