Katz SEC: Price improvement over NBBO would encourage me to trade more options. Presently, on many high volume stocks, the spread has sometimes been 10% or greater of the stock price. This has made it impossible to actively trade, profitably, options on many stocks, Especially in today's market conditions. Just last week I had profits in 20 SEPT 15 CALLs, where the spread was .30 or more on a $3-$4 contract. Trading against other orders with price improvement has made the NASDAQ market system(via ECNs) a much better market than before. I believe BOX would be a step in the right direction in making options trading more viable for the customer. The end result would be increased trading in the option market. I would like to see the adoption of BOX for options trading. Eli Y Khoury 1805 Chestnut St. Dallas, TX 75226 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
