Date: 03/21/2000 4:29 PM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD (File No. S7-31-99) Hello Chairman Levitt and representatives of the Securities Exchange Commission, As an individual investor tasked with planning the financial security for my family and myself and striving to do so by investing in the US stock markets, I am deeply concerned about the unfair corporate practice of selective disclosure to security brokerages. I don't believe it is in my interest or the interest of any individual investor to allow this practice to continue. Please. All participants in the public markets require and deserve a free flow of information in the marketplace. The interests of investment banks, broker-dealers, mutual fund companies, and all other corporate brokerage firms shouldn't be placed above the interests of individual investors. Put a stop to this practice. Thankyou. Michael McCracken Systems Engineer, MCSE, MCT XcelleNet, Inc.
