Subject: Proposed rule FD

Dear SEC:
     
We support proposed rule FD.  We are very happy the SEC is beginning to 
realize the adverse effects of selective disclosure.  Individual investors 
are always the last to know of important information that affects equity 
prices. There is no doubt built-in bias to the present insider-based system.
     
Please stand firm against the certain criticism from the securities 
industry.  They should have to do at least as much work as we individual 
investors do in ferreting out their investment choices, not be handed 
whisper numbers and insider information to make money for themselves and 
their clients at our expense.
