Date: 12/17/1999 11:44 AM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD Hello, I want to commend SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt on his proposed regulation on fair disclosure. It's a wonder to me how this regulation has taken so long to even be considered in a serious way. Not only should the SEC impose this regulation, but it should even strengthen it. People are making millions of dollars based on insider information. What's driving our economy today is the concept of outputting more with less, i.e. efficiency. The insiders are not contributing towards this end. Besides the fairness argument, this is why this fair disclosure rule should be applied.
