Author: "Keith Bowers" Date: 03/22/2000 11:47 AM Subject: Proposed Fair Disclosure Rules I am frankly aghast that the current 'selective disclosure' commonly practiced today is not prosecuted as willful disregard of existing laws requiring prompt and full disclosure of material information. Anything you do to improve this deplorable situation is applauded by independent investors such as myself. I have 6+ years of college and 25+ years in responsible charge in consulting and project management. I can read and understand most anything written with the intent of clear disclosure. I do not need anyone 'interpreting' or filtering my information. That public corporations presently hold 'selective disclosure' phone conferences and meetings with a few firms and individuals is totally against the fundamental principles of the U.S. form of government and commerce. We must do all we can to INCREASE the transparency and fairness of information disclosure to ensure those great principles continue to lead the world and instill investor confidence in U.S. listed and traded securities. YOUR JOB is to ensure fair and open disclosure TO ALL PARTIES AT THE SAME TIME. Please do you job well!
