Author: "Belt; Stephen D" Date: 03/22/2000 12:48 PM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD To Whom It May Concern At The SEC- I wish to voice my approval of this proposal for fair disclosure. Many companies today (of which I am happy to be employeed by one of them) offer fair, open and public disclosures to all investors, regardless of size. These disclosure are done through a multidude of means, of which some of them include: Earnings publication on their web site, open conference calls, internet conference calls, and press releases. Unfortunately, companies that offer public disclosure as a rule are in the vast minority. Accordingly, I would definitely approve any rule change that requires open and public disclosure to all investors at the same time, including the proposed methods of Media covered news conferences, SEC Filings, and open phone conferences and/or internet conferences of meetings and briefings. As well, I would definitely approve any rule change that prohibits the disclosure of information to select individuals in advance of public disclosure.
