Subject: SEC Rule Changes

Please stop the actions proposed in File No. s7-25-97 which will limit 
shareholders' influence on corporate decisionmaking. 
     
I would hope you see your role as Chairman to be making corporate 
America more inclusive, rather than exclusive. With hundreds of 
Americans becoming new shareholders daily, this is not the time to shut 
boardroom and finance office doors.
