All of the 7-8 stocks, he bought 'at high prices' except one, have gone bankrupt. I wanted to buy gold but he, the trusted expert, always was against the idea. At the time, a short while after I left the military I had invested $2000 in the market There really was no one I could turn to complain because the stock market people really didnt care about anyone or anything except their stcok company and the market itself. The Boards of Directors didnt give a damn except themselves and did everything to protect their King/Queen Bee and did nothing to shield us individual stockholders. There was an article in the NY Times several months ago that the Mafia is involved in the stock market. What is being done by the SEC to protect our markets from getting them out, and other corrupted companies out? Yes, while its too late for myself, Enron, World Crossings, Adelphia, and many other companies in the past, lets get this electing(no cronyism stuff) a legitimate/honest board of directors made a law as soon as possible.
