From: Ramesh Mallikarjun [mallikarjun@yahoo.com] Sent: Monday, March 29, 2004 1:20 PM To: rule-comments@sec.gov Subject: S7-19-03 I strongly support this SEC proposal to allow shareholders to be able to nominate directors alongside company nominations. I think we have for too long allowed corporate executives to nominate their buddies and treat companies like their own. Such directors do not have a single penny of their own money invested in the company and as such cannot have the best interest of the shareholder in mind. It is such behavior that has caused the outrages at Enron, Tyco, WorldCom, Adelphia, and others that vaporized billions in shareholder equity. As our govt. body regulating this industry - I request you to go ahead and make the bold changes that will stand up for the small investors whose life savings are at stake.
