S7-19-03From: Dick Tripp [macanudo62@earthlink.net] Sent: Monday, March 29, 2004 6:26 PM To: rule-comments@sec.gov Subject: S7-19-03 The current system of nominating and electing members of Boards of Directors is too incestuous. The process does not permit a reasonable way for stockholders to nominate and elect anyone other than the Management's anointed set. The system MUST be changed to prevent reverting to the old boy network and cronyism. Recent excesses have shown us, the American stockholders that such practices lead to poor decisions and actions not in the best interests of stockholders. They may benefit a few in the short haul but not the majority over the long haul. Richard W. Tripp, Jr. 79 Kingery Drive El Paso, TX 79902-2224
