I routinely withhold my vote from directors who hold no stock in the companies they “direct”, but of course that has no real impact. Selling is something I also routinely do, but sooner or later you run out of companies. Corporate governance in the US is distressing. There is no shared risk taking, there is no accountability, and there is no representation. This must change.
