Subject: Profile Prospectuses

I have read Don Philip's open letter re: Profile Prospectus vs. Full 
Prospectus.  I agree with him wholeheartedly.
     
As a Mutual Fund investor, I want to know  - or at least have avaailable to 
me - the complete agreement into which I am entering with any mutual fund 
company.  If they wnat to summerize it in the front or back, that would be 
fine.
     
I don't know if this e-mail will be read but I wonder if you might tell me 
when and WHY the fund prospectus stopped showing the COST of the securities 
held as well as their present (at the date of the Prospectus) values.
 Wouldn't this be a better gauge of how well management is doing.
