Dear Mr. Levitt,
     
I was reading a mutual fund magazine this morning that contained an article 
and sample of the proposed profile prospectuses.  I like this format a lot.
 It is a great synopsis of the fund itself.  As one who invests regularly in
mutual funds, this summary would save me time by not needing to dig through 
the prospectus for this key data.  Realizing that there is other good 
information in the prospectus, I like the concept of being able to request 
one or both of the proposed and current formats of a prospectus.
     
I clearly believe that the profile prospectus should be implemented because 
I know many investors who do not even read the current format because it is 
too cumbersome.
     
I would encourage you to push for immediate implementation of the profile 
prospectuses.
