Dear Sirs:
My wife and I recently learned that we could no longer manage our 
precious retirement
money which we worked sop hard ford during our working years.  This 
shock occurred
when we decided to reside in Florida in June of 1999.
As a result of this seeming oversight in the rules, we are stuck in 
mutual funds that have cost
us more that $20,000 C$ thus far.   Formerly, we would have transferred 
to the money
market fund.
We trust that our Canadian RRIF and RRSP will once again be available 
for our own management
according to the rules of both countries.
