To Whom It May Concern:
     
    The current SEC proposed to eliminating the Financial Data Schedules 
(FDS) from EDGAR filings would have a negative impact on me.  SPREDGAR, a 
computer add on program to Microsoft Excel, uses this section to generate its 
financial ratios.
     
    I've been investing for twenty years, and have use many software programs 
over the years to help me evaluate company to invest in.  The task of gather 
the financial information on a company and manual inputting data in to a 
computer spread sheet would take me days to due, but with SPREDGAR program, 
what took days now takes me minutes.  I've found SPREDGAR to be one the must 
powerful and user friendly programs to use.
     
    For the benefit of myself and the many other user of the SPREDGAR program 
I ask you to please maintain the Financial Data Schedules Form of the EDGAR 
filings.
