I have no doubt that the current leadership of the SEC will do everything in its power to prevent this from coming to pass. In the meantime, I expect the capital markets to continue to burn while you all feign concern for shareholders welfare. The Information Age will see to it that the truth regarding the gross inequities of corporate governance will be dispensed to an ever-widening circle of citizens and sooner or later the public will wake up to what has been happening and then there will be hell to pay at election time and I rather suspect the Republicans will be the big losers. But by then Chairman Pitt and his cohorts will have become wealthy enough to build a spaceship to carry them away to another planet where they can begin anew their misguided activities.
