I am a shareholder in a number of companies; granted, my ownership is miniscule, but I take seriously the responsibility of expressing my ownership rights through the proxy process. Sadly, many of the current rules provide little comfort to shareholders and serve to empower the management teams that should be reporting to us. It has been discouraging, at best, to witness the greed, fraud and arrogance that has invaded some public companies and the subsequent decline in the value of these companies. This has directly impacted our faith in the rules and the markets. Thank you for reviewing the proxy rules and considering the implementation of much needed reforms to empower the shareholders that own US companies. Respectfully, Leita Zeugner, Shareholder in various US companies 94 Main Street East Greenwich, RI 02818 . *****This information may be confidential and/or privileged.
