As an American citizen and a consumer, I feel citizens have a right to look up the conflict free policies of manufacturers to make purchasing decisions in order to determine that the materials used are conflict free. For example, materials mined in the Congo can be obtained from arrangements that violate human rights. I do not wish for my consumer decisions to be a part of such situations, especially without my knowledge and implicit consent in making a purchase. Please do not pass laws or rules that discontinue citizens' rights to the above information. We are all citizens of the world at large and have moral obligations to consider the results of our actions and choices on a larger scale.

Thank you for your consideration in this important matter.
