To whom it may concern, I heavily support the SEC’s disapproval of the Options Clearing Corporation’s rule change proposal to alter systems of margin requirements. As a retail investor, I expected the market to be a vital and fair place to trade. The actions taken by the OCC seem to divert from these principles towards lessening accountability and transparency. Please take into consideration, if this Rule Change proposal is to pass, what would stop the OCC from proposing another for further changes to margin requirements, and to what extent for what reason? If the SEC were to approve of this proposal, I myself as a retail investor and I believe many other retail investors wouldn’t be as inclined to keep trading on what is believed to be an already corrupt market. Please hear and take into consideration the sheer volume of investors and their comments that are against the OCC’s proposal, to help stop and prevent further corruption that will most likely lead to severe backlashes within the trading market. Thank you
