Having complete and open transparency is important in everything, especially when it comes to true price discovery. We can’t keep exempting hedge funds from requiring to show that they have the proper margin to fund what actions they are taking behind the scenes. Especially when this behind the scenes action is enabling fraud to occur using the money of their “clients” as well as any other means they have to obtain money, or create money. It’s about time we start to become more transparent in this. It’s not the 1900s anymore. We have the technology to keep track of this in real time. You just have to be willing to even the playing field for all. Not keep it tilted towards the greedy and corrupt.
