Hello, I am writing to express my concerns about the Proposed Rule Change by The Options Clearing Corporation Concerning Its Process for Adjusting Certain Parameters in Its Proprietary System for Calculating Margin Requirements During Periods When the Products It Clears and the Markets It Serves Experience High Volatility. These margin requirements were put into place to help protect a fair market and its members. There is an unacceptable increase in risk and a huge conflict of interest when the occ has the option to waive or change a margin requirement, ESPECIALLY in the event of high volatility. I support the SEC rejection of this rule change. Regards, Concerned citizen
