Dear SEC, I'm grateful for the opportunity to comment on this rule proposal. I agree with the rejection of SR-OCC-2024-001 - and support the reasons for the dismissal as outlined on pages 4-5 of the Federal Register. If the American public is not able to waive credit card or mortgage payments, there's absolutely no reason the OCC should exempt clearing members from margin requirements when they've mis-managed risk. My bank doesn't care if I over-draft, they still charge me fees. Maybe OCC clearing members should buy fewer avocado toasts & yachts.
