Hello—

I am a household investor, and I have significant exposure to US capital markets for my retirement and family investment funds. I would like to express my strong support for SR-OCC-2024-001 34-100009 and the securities lending information dissemination it proposes. I believe transparency is key to efficient markets, and a cornerstone to equality.

That being said, I do have concerns relating to the provisions which allow FINRA to suspend the reporting covered securities loans or data elements at their own discretion. Use of this provision would significantly undermine the efficacy of the very rule it is created by, and the transparency that household investors like myself yearn for.

In summary, while I broadly support FINRA Rule 6500, I STRONGLY advocate for stringent guidelines governing the suspension of reporting to avoid undermining these goals of transparency, efficiency, and fairness.

Thank you for your time.

David
