Dear Securities and Exchange Commission, I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposal put forth by the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) to waive their own margin calls, as outlined in SR-OCC-2024-001 (File Number: 34-99393). Allowing the OCC to waive their own margin calls would create a significant conflict of interest and undermine the integrity of the options market. It would erode investor confidence and expose market participants to undue risk. I urge the Securities and Exchange Commission to reject this proposal in order to protect the stability and fairness of the options market. Thank you for considering my comments.
