I am concerned about the proposed OCC rule, especially regarding transparency. The details of this proposal along with supporting information are significantly redacted which prevents the publics ability to properly review these proposals and makes commenting on them unnecessarily difficult. Giving the OCC an ability to essentially approve or deny margin requirements is allowing them to pick and choose which banks they want to have around and can cause a larger concentration of power in the banking industry. Margin requirements were put in place for a reason and they are there to help prevent risks like the current systemic risks from happening when they are properly enforced.

As it currently stands, I do not support this proposed rule.
