Subject: Reject SR-OCC-2024-001 - A Risky and Unfair Rule

Dear SEC

I am a retail investor who opposes the proposed rule SR-OCC-2024-001. This rule would let the OCC change margin requirements in secret and without public input during high volatility periods.

This rule is not transparent. It's risky, and unfair. It could create even more systemic risks than already exist today. It's basically a giant kick of the can instead of dealing with the current systemic risks. Also it could reduce margin call requirements, and favor certain market participants over others.

I urge you to reject this rule and consider the suggested improvements, such as strengthening margin requirements, introducing external auditing, incorporating public input, and enhancing transparency.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Brian Andersen
