I, Miguel Saucedo, am writing to express my strong opposition to the recent proposal by Options Clear Corp (OCC) to waive their margin calls. As a retail investor, I find this move deeply concerning and detrimental to market integrity. Why should OCC be allowed to evade accountability for naked shorts and potential market manipulation by its members? Waiving margin requirements undermines transparency and puts the entire financial system at risk. We cannot afford to let self-regulated entities become too big to fail.
