I work hard to make whatever money I make and I think that this rule is ridiculous. If I borrowed money from somebody and put it on a stock then I would expect to pay that person back and not go to my parents and say can you just make up a rule that all loans don't need to be paid back? This allowance of margin calls to be canceled out is crazy whenever I go on margin if it doesn't work out I can expect a phone call within a couple days. So I adamantly suggest you don't let that rule pass
