To whom this may concern,
I’m thankful For the opportunity To comment on SR-OCC-2024-001 34-99393 entitled “ Proposed rule change” by the options clearing corporation concerning its process for adjusting certain parameters in its proprietary system for calculating margin requirements during periods when the products it clears in the markets it serves experience high volatility.

I Have several concerns about the OCC proposal, I oppose this proposal, and I do not support its approval!

I am concerned about the lack of transparency within our financial system and this rule proposal is evidence of such. The details of this proposal and other such supporting information have been significantly redacted preventing public from a meaningful informed review and comment on the proposal. This proposal should be rejected on that criteria alone.

Such roles continue to create an unfair marketplace, which is a disservice to the retail investor whom continue to face unfair consequence While the OCC continues to waive margin requirements. For this reason the proposal should be rejected and the OCC should uphold those requirements set forth to protect and balance our financial systems.
