I’m sure you’ve already received plenty of emails in regards to the proposed rule change above. I firmly disagree with the OCC’s rule change proposal regarding turning off margin requirements under whatever they deem as “extraordinary circumstances.” This does not protect the best interest of the public; instead, it protects the corrupt pieces of garbage that have been shorting everything on the market with zero consequences. Tow the line on short selling. End that. Put the OCC in it’s place on this—there’s a reason why they’re trying to push this rule change through without public opinion/consent. -Shaun Havanec Sent from my iPhone
