Thank you for giving us the opportunity to comment on SR-OCC-2024-001 34-99393 entitled "Proposed Rule Change by the Options Clearing Corporation Concerning its Process for Adjusting Certain Parameters in it's Proprietary System for Calculating Margin Requirements During Periods When the Products it Clears and the Market it Serves Experience High Volatility." This is very concerning and I oppose this Proposal. I do not support this change. The market is not transparent and this rule will greatly amplify this situation. The direction this rule change is headed greatly hurts the retail community and gives even more power to those who recklessly game the market. This rule will eliminate what little checks and balances are left to keep the market safe. Please consider eliminating this rule in its entirety. Thank you Hayden T.
