Good day, I'm writing to you as a concerned retail investor to voice my opposition to the proposed rule in the subject line. Margin calls, as you know, are an essential part of market balance. Without margin calls, market manipulation will become an even bigger problem, eventually causing the public to lose faith in the NYSE. If that happens, the US economy will come crashing down, just like it did when people lost faith in the banks. I implore you to consider rejecting this proposed rule, not for my individual benefit, but for the benefit and stability of the United States economy. No new rules.
