Appreciate the opportunity to state my concerns on the Proposed rule change by the Options Clearing Corporation concerning it's process for adjusting certain parameters in it's proprietary system for calculating margin requirements during periods when the products it clears and the markets it serves experience high volatility.

I am concerned that the rule will telegraph to all those retailers that the days of a fair and transparent market have ended. Without transparency, trust will fade. Without transparency in the market, most retailers will exit and it will be difficult to bring in the new generation of traders.

Those requests for rules to be changed because they made a bad trade should be denied. Accountability is already in place for individual traders, and if its altered for hedge funds it would give the impression that the market itself is rigged.

Please consider my position on this matter.
