Dear Sir or Madam, I want to thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposal SR-OCC-2024-001-34-99393. As a retail investor who has become much more aware of what goes on behind the scenes of the market I am completely against this proposal. I do not support the proposal nor would I support any consideration for approving it. This proposal will be a longer term pain for retail investors due to allowing firms to continue shorting excessively or using their money to attack stocks and companies with no repercussions to their own actions. This proposal is not fair to the overall market and I believe our end goal is for a fair and transparent market. Thank you for your consideration of my position on the matter.
